| Long service leave |

Hi, I've worked in the same fast food company for over ten years, so am entitled to long service leave. I was employed as casual and then part time. I started a new full time job and have been there for over a year. I was still working in the fast food job one day a week while in my full time job. However, I haven't worked in the fast food job for about 2 months now as I was unsure of whether I wanted to continue doing six days a week all up. About a week ago, I saw on my pay slip that the food job had paid out my annual leave ( I didn't ask for that) and that they had changed me to casual (without asking me). Are they allowed to do this? Also, am I still entitled to the long service leave despite the fact I haven't worked there for the past two months? I have heard that you get more long service leave if you are full time and that it reduces if you are part time or casual. I feel that they may have changed me to casual so I don't get as much annual leave. |

Hi, I attended a Disciplinary meeting today with a Supervisor who accused me of certain misconduct. The meeting was run by a former supervisor at the club whom I've had negative dealings with before. I recorded the entire conversation as I didn't have a witness available to me. The allegations, though somewhat true, are by far extremely inaccurate! As they are deciding the outcome, is it too late to get the Union involved? |

I started a new job on Monday 11th of March, I signed a contract stating fortnightly pay, My first pay day was supposed to be Tuesday 26th March and I haven't been paid still, It has now reached 2 full pay cycles ending today and my boss cant guarantee when he can pay me. I know the logical thing to do is leave, I am looking extensively for another job. And figure whilst im still rocking up to work, they owe me money. I am not the only one in this situation in my company.
I am in danger of my credit rating being damaged and kicked out of my rental due to running out of savings. |

I work for a resort island in the Whitsundays that is constantly overcharging staff for living costs as a result the staff village makes more money than the resort my question is what can I do about it I need to live here to keep an income but they have a monopoly on all products and keep marking up everything they charge me $25 for a plastic I'd card if I lose it and can't justify the cost what's to stop them charging $100 and the list goes on with similar things |

| Concierge |

Hello, I am a casual concierge at an office building and i have been working in that position for 18 months. When myself and my colleagues took on our position as casual it was due to the fact that we were on a trial and had to perform well to prove ourselves in the building until the vote at the corporation meeting went ahead with permanency. The permanency was voted in a very positive way and in Sept 2012 the permanency came into affect. Since that time we have had 2 management changeovers, both of which were asked if it could be arranged for me to be placed as a PPT, They keep evading the issue. They have now altered the rosters to suit themselves which means that i have to take less hours to accomodate new employees, and one of the employees is harrassing me on a regular basis and raising his voice at me in front of customers. I have complained about this and the managment is doing nothing about it because it will affects their KPI's.
I am very disgruntled and need to know where i can turn please.?

Hi, I am a part time shift worker for an airline. Recently we have a new manager and they have changed our shifts\ roster . One of our new shifts includes 10am to 2pm with no shift penalties. Is this allowed? |
