Currently under attack from management at my work. This has been going on for sometime - they have different rules for everyone and finally ive taken a stand and its backfiring on me. The final straw was yesterday when my supervisor verbally attacked me in front of everyone because I didnt say good morning to her.. when I actually did. She then went on about how no one wants me here (which is rubbish) and that others have been saying nasty things about me. I know for a fact that the 3 people I work with closely support me all the way. She has also been talking to them about my personal life as well which is none of her business. Ive seen them bully over 6 people in the past 13 years that I have been here and now they are turning on me. There is alot more to the story but Im under so much stress and not sure which direction to take. Im not on our union and have spoken with HR Manager who was okay but no doubt will support management before me. They wil use anything they can to find problems with me, its been going on for years but finally I stand up to their discrimniation and inconsistencies and now Im being targeted. ALso being targeted because of my illness which I have no control over. I dont know what to do

100s of CSIRO support staff across Australia have been told their jobs will go and they have to reapply for those being offered-at significantly lower pay. How can this be allowed to happen?

I am writing this for a friend who wishes to remain anonymous. He has been working for his present employer for six months and his normal working week is six days a week. He continues to ask his employer for one week's leave. His employer continues to refuse his request. When I suggested he join a Union (ACTU) he responded that they don't have unions where he works. These people fear losing their jobs if they bring a Union in to help them. What should he do?

I'm working as a manager in a community service organisation, my 3-year AWA expired end of April. My boss made me have 2 weeks leave, and while I was on leave, sent me a performance management letter, never had any issues til now, and he notified me that my position was under review and that my AWA was being reviewed. The Board told him to roll my AWA over but he hasnt, and today he took 2 of my 3 supervisors away, just like that, they dont report to me any more. And I travel an hour to work and back and for 3 years I've worked FT hrs in 4 days, and he says I now have to work less hrs and be FT across 5 days. Am I on a new modern award now my AWA expired?

I would like to know when Mr Rudd is going to do the right thing by us and get rid of the watered down Work Choices ? Fair Work Australia is not much better than Work Choices, I help organize the marches in all of the rallies in our area with the thought that what Rudd and the rest told us would happen if they got into power.
As a AMWU delegate I have been told by site members and I agree with them 100% that we were RIPPED OFF.
When is the ACTU going to continue the FIGHT. Or are we just lap dogs to the Labor party ?

I have been working for more than 2 years for this company and I never have got pay annual leave or any penalties. They have kept me as full time casual (40 hours per week) most of the time. Do I still have the right to claim these benefits? and I would like to know if am I entitle to them?
