Posted by Bec - 09:21 PM 04.02.10
My permanent part-time hours have been reduced for an undetermined amount of time. Is this legal?

I have been working an average of approximately 25-30's weekly for a period of 4+ months. Is it legal for my hours now to be dropped too 12 hour weeks?

Hi Idales

I’m so sorry you lost your job. Unfortunately it sounds as if you are still on probation which would mean that you hadn’t been at the workplace long enough to lodge an unfair dismissal claim.  We’d really like to talk to you though to find out about what led up you being dismissed, so we can see if there are any other avenues you can explore. One of our organisers will be in touch with you today.
