drop in youth work pay

| As a youth worker we have recently been told the award has changed and we would only receive 1 hours sleepover pay(instead of 3) a night per overnight shift.This means some workers who do 2 overnighters are now out of pocket $100 or more a week because of this change.How can this be fair to pay a YW who HAS to be on premises overnight with high needs kids 1 of the 8 hours they sleep over? We feel hard done by, what can we do?
