Restriction of not working for competitors
Posted by Patrick - 07:19 PM 09.03.10
I worked for an Australian company for 5 years. They made me signed on the contract agring not join any similar companies for 18months within Australia that will be competing directly or in-directly after leaving. I left the company last July and joined in ex-company's overseas customers for a different jobs in december. I haven't been contacting or dealing with any Australian previous suppliers and customers. Current company bought some Australian products in directly from the third party and my ex-boss found out about it. They are now threating me with legal actions and wanting to cover the "loss" occured for my action. Ex-boss even went a step forward even suspect that I've been taking a cut from any of previous deals happened between two companies. He is also intended to cover the "loss" of the previous deals although ever single old deals in the past were makin' a big profit for the organizations. He just keeps harrasing me by sending abusive emails to me. Any actions i can do while i m in overseas?
