if i am permanent can i be then made casual in the same job

I have worked in a bakery for the past 3 years and for the past 6 months have been permanent. The business is being sold and Ive heard that the new owner is going to make everyone casual, can they do this?

My son works in a job that requires him to drive around in a work vechile and he just recently had an accident during work is it right they r making him pay for it ?
